I met Tom Prestwood in 1993 during my first ski trip with the Club to Salt Lake City. My initial impression of him was that he was a laid-back person who was easy-to-get-along-with. Over the years this impression did not change as we became close friends. I also discovered Tom to be a genuine, considerate, kind human being and a loyal, trustworthy friend.
Tom joined the Ski Club in 1970, and remained a member until his death in January. ...Professionally, Tom’s resume is impressive. He earned three master’s degrees and worked in systems engineering, computers, and program management. By the time he retired in 2006, he had spent over 43 years working in the research and development of missile and aerospace systems for the private sector, NASA, the US Army, and the Department of Defense.
