HUNTSVILLE SKI CLUB POLICY
Alcohol Usage
Effective Date: Approved by the BOD on June 16th, 2010
Purpose: To establish guidelines for the serving of alcoholic beverages during events or activities sponsored by the HSC.
Guidelines
- The HSC membership and retained representatives shall not serve alcoholic beverages to any visibly intoxicated person(s).
- The HSC shall not distribute alcoholic beverages; however, HSC members may serve alcoholic beverages based upon state regulations related to a private party.
- All HSC members shall maintain a responsible attitude toward the consumption of alcohol at all events.
- The HSC Board of Directors shall approve of any planned circumstance where alcoholic beverages are to be self service.
- The HSC Board of Directors shall approve, prior to the event, members distributing or mixing alcoholic beverages for the consumption of its members.
- The HSC shall make available non-alcoholic beverages at all activities where alcoholic beverages are available.
- The HSC unconditionally supports and enforces all applicable state statutes prohibiting any alcoholic beverage consumption.
- The HSC membership may bring their alcoholic beverage or beverages to share.
