HUNTSVILLE SKI CLUB POLICY
Web Based Voting Practices

Effective Date: Approved by the BOD on TBD, 2008

Purpose: To clarify the polling and voting practices beyond those identified in the HSC Constitution

General: The voting / polling practices summarized below are for the Huntsville Ski Club, Inc. and are derived from the HSC Constitution and By-laws.

The Huntsville Ski Club, Inc. will conduct web based voting and, or polling activities from time to time to gather information from members in good standing with active web registered accounts. These web based polls or votes may cover club policies and practices, or mere opinions on various subjects of interest by the general membership or by the Board of Directors for club business.

These web based polls or votes are set up so that each registered account holder may cast one vote for any particular issue or topic. Members not having an active individual account will not be able to vote in these web initiated votes or polls, and will need to attend monthly meetings to vote in person. Accounts representing two or more members will have one vote or polled opinion.

Polls or votes may run for an unspecified period of time for gathering of opinions by the web general membership. Votes associated with changing of By-Laws and Constitution issues must comply with current Constitution practices.

To cast your vote or polled opinion (exclusive HSC members), HSC member will need to login, whereupon voting / polling links will present themselves to receive the members vote or polled opinion. Results are viewable at the time of polling or vote but do not represent the final outcome of the poll or vote.

Web based votes associated with required Constitutional derived activities shalled be authenticated simultaneously by two Board of Director Members at the end of the voting period and documented by email to all Board of Directors and recorded in the next Board of Directors meeting.
