Hi Everyone!!

Just want folks to know what a wonderful trip The Huntsville Ski Club had this summer flying into and touring Seattle-Washington prior to our Alaskan Cruise.  Many of us rode The Duck (I had never ridden in an amphibian vehicle before), and having dinner atop the Seattle's Space Needle with friends were among the many things we did together and individually. Oh, what ...a ...view!!   I love Seattle!!

After arriving in Seattle a couple of days prior to the Alaskan Cruise we enjoyed Seattle by making the most of our time, then... we were pumped for Cruz-in Alaska!!  Many of us enjoyed the special trip to the Glacier where we saw "caving" (when the ice breaks from the main sheet of ice and falls into the water, usually with lots of noise in an explosive way), Whale watching, native traditions, timber expos, bush plane adventures,

along with a train ride into the Yukon.  On our journey home we stopped and explored the beautiful streets of  British Columbia, Victoria, toured the gardens, and some of us had "High Tea" where the Queen of England frequents!! (Thanks to Pat Brewer) How beautiful everything was as we wondered around their little community on the harbor.  ...And while we were hiking through the streets of Victoria, a black stretch limousine pulls slowly past us, a window rolls down, and low and behold, Huntsville Ski Clubbers!

What a wonderful group of friends we have made with the Huntsville Ski Club!!
