...The Huntsville Ski Club is a social club open to the public 
and dedicated to having fun skiing, as well as tennis, hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing and many other social and recreational activities. The club has several hundred members, and growing... across northern Alabama and southern Tennessee. With a rich tradition, organized in 1963, the HSC provides 4-7 ski trips per year, mostly to the U.S. Rockies, and occasionally to Canada and Europe. Using our long heritage of what works and what doesn't, our trips are superbly organized with several parties along the way.
...The Huntsville Ski Club is a member club of the Crescent Ski Council (CSC). The CSC is an association made up of 22 sister ski clubs with 5000 members in the southeastern United States. Membership does have its privileges as HSC offers our trips and make them available, at no extra cost, to members of other clubs who also belong to the CSC. In return, our members can participate in other CSC clubs' ski trips at no extra costs. It is like being a member of 23 clubs and paying only one membership. The CSC member clubs run 100's of trips - prime trips include a Western Carnival (typically to the U.S. or Canadian Rockies) and a Euro fest as stellar events.
...We meet on the third Wednesday of the month at the Huntsville Area Association of Realtors, located at 535 Monroe Street in downtown Huntsville, Alabama, starting at 7 pm. These meetings are a good opportunity to socialize, enjoy complementary finger food, liquid refreshments, chat with trip leaders, and learn about upcoming activities and events - anything from new trips, equipment or sports fashion.
