Twenty-three Huntsville Ski Club members traveled to Beaver Creek...

On Saturday, February 4, 2012, twenty-three Huntsville Ski Club members traveled to Beaver Creek, Colorado for a wonderful week of alpine skiing.  Everyone arrived on time with all luggage in tow.  We stayed in an East-West property; The Kiva Condos, which is a 5-star property.  Everyone said these Condos were the finest that they had ever stayed in.  The condos have 2 outdoor hot tubs, and a large outdoor heated pool.  The property is a ski-in-ski-out property and is located adjacent to the famous Beaver Creek Village.

Huntsville Ski Club Elections - Mar 21, 2012

The Huntsville Ski Club’s annual election of officers and directors will occur at our regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 21.

Last year we attempted to vote electronically and, due to low participation, we decided to go back to holding the election completely within the March meeting, recognizing that some may be absent and unable to vote.

Trip Report for Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort...

On January 28th, 18 Huntsville Ski Club members left Taos and drove to Durango.  We met 12 more members flying into Durango for a week of great skiing at Purgatory!  We stayed at Durango Mountain Resort with wonderful ski-in/ski-out condos that had us on the slopes in a few short minutes...

The Telluride 2012 Trip turned out great...

We had over 30"of new snow from the beginning to the end. What more could a skier want. On top of that we had several bluebird blue sky days. This makes the ride down the gondola over looking the town and the views [from See For Every] breath-taking...
